Newsonline Nigeria reports that Nigeria’s Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani, recently announced a significant collaboration between the Federal Government and UNDP Nigeria.

 

This partnership aims to offer 3,000 paid internships to individuals participating in the 3MTT (3 Million in Three Years) program.

Overview of the Initiative:

The internships, spanning a duration of 12 months, are strategically designed to provide a practical platform for 3MTT fellows to apply the skills and knowledge acquired through the program. The collaboration aligns with the broader objectives of the 3MTT initiative, initiated by the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy.

Objectives of the 3MTT Program:

The 3MTT program, a brainchild of the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, seeks to establish a robust pool of technical talent. This initiative is in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s visionary goal of generating 3 million digital jobs by 2025.

The eagerly awaited list of the first phase comprising 30,000 3MTT fellows is set to be unveiled on Wednesday, November 15th, at 4 pm. To witness this milestone moment, applicants and stakeholders are encouraged to join the kickoff live on YouTube through the FMCIDENigeria channel.
