Tinubu 2027: Southwest Arewa Pro-Tinubu Group Visits Ooni of Ife, Secures Royal Endorsement

Southwest Arewa Pro-Tinubu group has visited Ooni of Ife and secured royal endorsement ahead of 2027 Presidential election.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that a leading pro-Tinubu political movement in Southwestern Nigeria, the Southwest Arewa Community Renewed Hope Agenda for Asiwaju 2027, has received a major boost following an endorsement and royal blessing from the Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi.

 

The group, popularly known as SWAC 4 ABAT Again 2027, visited the palace of the monarch on Friday as part of its ongoing sensitisation and mobilisation campaign aimed at promoting the Renewed Hope Agenda among Arewa communities across the six states of the Southwest.

 

 

The delegation was led by the group’s Director-General, Alhaji Shehu Usman Sampam.

Speaking during the visit, the Ooni of Ife emphasised the importance of peace, unity, and harmony in sustaining national security and economic growth, noting that Nigeria is currently witnessing infrastructural development under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

 

 

The revered monarch commended the group for what he described as a progressive effort in promoting the policies and achievements of the Tinubu administration among northern residents living in the Southwest.

 

According to the monarch, the movement’s grassroots engagement strategy and advocacy for peaceful coexistence remain commendable and beneficial to national unity.

 

The royal father subsequently offered prayers and formally endorsed the Southwest Arewa Community Renewed Hope Agenda for Asiwaju 2027, a development seen by members as a major milestone for the rapidly growing political support movement.

 

Responding on behalf of the delegation, Alhaji Shehu Usman Sampam described the reception at the palace as historic and deeply symbolic.

 

“We were received with uncommon warmth and royal honour. We are grateful to our father, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ojaja II), for the endorsement and royal blessings bestowed on our movement,” he said.

 

Sampam added that the support from the Ooni’s palace has further strengthened the group’s resolve to intensify mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections.

 

He disclosed that the movement is targeting the mobilisation of one million votes from Arewa communities across Lagos State, Ogun State, Osun State, Oyo State, Ondo State, and Ekiti State in support of Tinubu’s re-election bid and the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027.
