Overview of the Initiative:

The internships, spanning a duration of 12 months, are strategically designed to provide a practical platform for 3MTT fellows to apply the skills and knowledge acquired through the program. The collaboration aligns with the broader objectives of the 3MTT initiative, initiated by the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy.

Objectives of the 3MTT Program:

The 3MTT program, a brainchild of the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, seeks to establish a robust pool of technical talent. This initiative is in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s visionary goal of generating 3 million digital jobs by 2025.

Upcoming Announcement:

The eagerly awaited list of the first phase comprising 30,000 3MTT fellows is set to be unveiled on Wednesday, November 15th, at 4 pm. To witness this milestone moment, applicants and stakeholders are encouraged to join the kickoff live on YouTube through the FMCIDENigeria channel.

How to Stay Updated:

If you have applied for the 3MTT program or are interested in the outcome, the live announcement on YouTube offers an opportunity to stay informed about the first phase of selected fellows. This event promises to provide valuable insights into the progression of the initiative and the future impact it aims to create.

The collaboration between the Federal Government and UNDP Nigeria, coupled with the internship opportunities, signifies a concerted effort to bridge the gap between skills development and practical application. As the 3MTT program moves into its next phase, it holds the potential to contribute significantly to the realization of digital job creation goals and the overall advancement of the digital economy in Nigeria.
