Ike Ekweremadu: If Not Poverty, How Possible Is It For 15yrs Old To Donate Kidney - Catholic Priest

As questions continue to be raised following the arrest of Ike Ekweremadu, over alleged organ harvest, a Catholic priest has asked if not for poverty, how possible is it for a 15years old to donate a kidney to a politician.

Newsonline reports that the catholic priest stated that politicians like Ike Ekweremadu have relegated the people to remain in poverty for their exploitation.

Fr Kelvin Ugwu, an Enugu State indigene, who is working as a missionary priest in Malawi said it was regrettable that the poverty caused by politicians like Ike Ekweremadu, has made the ordinary citizens sacrifice their poor lives for them.

Fr Kelvin revealed that the rich including politicians allegedly harvest the blood of newly born children and young people for transfusion so that they can prolong their lives because medically it has proven to be effective.

Fr Kelvin questioned: “Do you know that there are rich people who harvest the blood of newly born children and young people for transfusion so that they can prolong their lives because medically it has proven to be effective?

“Do you know some creams and body lotions are made from aborted fetuses because it has proven to revive aging skin and make them look younger?”

Commenting on the arrest of Senator Ike Ekweremadu by the UK Metropolitan police over alleged human trafficking of a 15 years old child for organ harvesting, the Catholic priest, assked how a 15 yeras old or parent of a 15-year-old consented to donate a kidney to Ike Ekweremadu’s daughter if not for poverty.

The Catholic priest lamented that politicians have lost their conscience as they trample on their people who have been made poor because of their bad leadership.

“In any way, you may want to look at the Ike Ekweremadu’s case while waiting for the full story to unfold, ask yourself, if not poverty how is it possible that the parent of a 15-year-old or the 15-year-old himself will consent to donate his organ to Ekweremadu?

“What most rich people do, how they trample on the poor and use them as they so wish without any qualm of conscience, if I talk about it, you will weep.”

Newsonline reported that Ike Ekweremadu, former two times, deputy senate president, who hails from Mpu, Aninri council area, Enugu State, and his wife, Nwanneka, were arrested on Thursday, in the United Kingdom, over allegation of human trafficking of a 15-year-old boy, for organ harvesting.
