Adepoju, who was represented by the Director of Media and Corporate Communications, Dr. Felix Ale, commended STUPH CHAIN LLC for its innovative contributions and efforts to introduce technology-driven experiences to the forthcoming Africa Space Economy Innovation and Communication Conference (ASEICC) 2026.
He said strategic engagement with private-sector players remains important to advancing Nigeria’s space ambitions, noting that initiatives aimed at adding value to ASEICC were steps in the right direction.
The NASRDA DG also assured the STUPH CHAIN team of the agency’s commitment to providing the necessary information and support to enable the company to achieve its objectives for the conference.
Speaking during the visit, the Chief Executive Officer of STUPH CHAIN LLC, Ogegbo Babajide, said the delegation was at NASRDA to seek approval for souvenir designs developed by the company for ASEICC 2026.
He said the visit was also aimed at exploring additional areas of collaboration between STUPH CHAIN LLC and the space agency ahead of the conference.
Babajide disclosed that the company had developed a dedicated application for ASEICC that would enable conference participants to take live photographs and experience an immersive, galaxy-themed digital environment designed to simulate the feeling of being in space.
According to him, the digital experience is intended to complement the conference and provide participants with an interactive way of engaging with the theme of space, technology and innovation.
He further disclosed that STUPH CHAIN LLC would be responsible for 50 per cent of the entertainment at the event, leveraging its network within the entertainment industry to provide engaging experiences for conference participants.
The engagement between NASRDA and STUPH CHAIN LLC highlights the growing intersection between Nigeria’s space sector, digital technology, entertainment and private-sector innovation as stakeholders prepare for ASEICC 2026.
The conference is expected to provide a platform for stakeholders in Africa’s emerging space economy to discuss opportunities around innovation, communication, investment, technology and private-sector participation.
