In a statement signed by the association’s General Secretary, Comrade Mubarak Ola Lawal, AYDAN described the appointment as a recognition of Jagaba’s competence, experience, intellectual capacity, community service and commitment to peaceful coexistence.
The association said the appointment also reflected Governor Sanwo-Olu’s commitment to building an inclusive Lagos where individuals with proven capacity and dedication are given opportunities to contribute to the development of the state, irrespective of ethnic background.
