NUPENG has slammed Dangote Refinery over mass sack of Nigerian workers.
NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) has strongly condemned the mass sack of Nigerian employees by Dangote Refinery, describing it as a true reflection of Aliko Dangote’s character.
Speaking in an interview with DAILY POST on Friday, NUPENG National President, Prince Williams Akporeha, accused Dangote of exposing his “true colours” with the decision.

“That is the stuff Dangote is made of. He has shown his true colours to all Nigerians,” Akporeha said.
His comments come shortly after the President of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN), Festus Osifo, confirmed that Dangote Refinery dismissed nearly all Nigerian workers barely 24 hours after they joined the union.
The development has sparked outrage across the labour community, deepening tensions in the ongoing dispute over workers’ right to unionize at the multibillion-dollar refinery.
