
Newsonline reports that the former vice president said the organized private will have major contribution in economic policies of the country to ensure that more jobs are created for the youths.
Atiku Abubakar who has been contesting for the presidency of Nigeria for the fourth time, stated that his administration will ensure that the private sector have a good economic environment to actualize a productive economy that will provide employment for youths.
Atiku said, ” To jump-start the manufacturing sector and create much needed jobs, and a profitable Nigeria that works for all, we shall review import duty payable on raw materials that are available locally and on imported machinery for local production.

Atiku stated that his administration investment and economic policies shall be in consultation with the oragnized private sector.
“To achieve a sustained increase in manufacturing output, we would ensure our private sector is additionally empowered by involving them in every decision-making process as it pertains to the industry.
“Ensure that all major economic and investment ploicies are formulated after sufficient prior consulatation with the organized private sector,” he said.
