Mbappe’s hat-trick against Kairat puts the former Paris Saint-Germain forward into an elite group of just six players to have scored 60 or more goals in Champions League history.
The 26-year-old reached the milestone faster than several legends of the competition, including Cristiano Ronaldo. Mbappe needed only 89 appearances to hit 60 goals, while Ronaldo required 98 games to get there.
The former Monaco striker still trails Lionel Messi and Robert Lewandowski, who reached the same landmark in 80 and 85 matches, respectively.
