Newsonline reports that Tinubu said the “wrong statistics” of the Peter Obi is not what Nigeria currently needs.

He also described Atiku as someone who is always on the run, because he has been contesting for the post of the president many times and hasn’t won.

The former governor of Lagos State stated this while speaking at a rally in Gbaramatu, Delta state on Friday.

While speaking at the rally in Gbaramatu which had Oboro II, the Pere of Gbaramatu, in attendance, Tinubu described himself as one of “a few” presidential candidates still in the race.

“As I stand before you, there are a few of us left running. One says he is Atiku. How many times has he been running? He is always on the run and he is tired. Tell him to go and sit down. Enough is enough,” he said.

“The other one think na statistics we go chop. He lies with arithmetic that no Indian can solve. To mention his name is a disgrace to me. I won’t mention the name. Wrong arithmetic, wrong statistics, warehouse economy — that is not what Nigeria needs.

“Your royal majesty, it was a joy to find one of my own blood being part of you from Badagry. So, whatever you need, you need honesty? You need the man who knows the road? That is me.

“I promise, we won’t be far away from you. We will carry you along. We will consult with you regularly. Our brothers here, we will embrace them. A renewed hope is here standing before you and I promise that with the support of God Almighty, you will live long.”
