TINUBU 2027: Arewa Community Southwest DG Visits Rep. Kafilat Ogbara at National Assembly

Arewa Community Southwest DG has visited Rep. Kafilat Ogbara at National Assembly to establish support for Tinubu come 2027.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the momentum for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid gained renewed energy this week as the Director General of the Arewa Community Southwest, Alhaji Shehu Usman Jibrin Sampam, led a high-powered delegation on a courtesy visit to Hon. Kafilat Ogbara, Chairman of the House Committee on Women Affairs, at the National Assembly in Abuja.

The visit forms part of a nationwide consultation and mobilization campaign by the Arewa Community Southwest aimed at consolidating grassroots support and securing bloc votes for President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Welcoming the delegation to her office at the Green Chamber, Hon. Ogbara commended the group’s early mobilization efforts and reaffirmed her total commitment to the reelection of President Tinubu.

She described the President’s administration as one that is “re-engineering Nigeria for true prosperity, inclusivity, and sustainable development,” under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has demonstrated visionary leadership and courage in laying the foundation for national transformation. I have no doubt that the Arewa Community in the Southwest will continue to stand firmly behind him and the APC,” Ogbara stated.

The lawmaker also pledged to partner with the Arewa Community on outreach and advocacy initiatives aimed at strengthening the APC’s electoral base across the Southwest region.

In his remarks, Alhaji Sampam noted that the visit was a continuation of the group’s strategic engagements with key stakeholders, political leaders, and grassroots organizations.

He emphasized the Arewa Community’s unwavering loyalty to President Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC), stressing that their goal is to deliver massive bloc votes from the northern population residing in the Southwest.

It would be recalled that Alhaji Sampam recently led a similar delegation to the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, where he assured the presidency of the community’s readiness to mobilize strong political support for Tinubu’s second-term victory in 2027.

The Arewa Community Southwest, which has become a formidable political force in recent years, is expected to play a significant role in shaping the political landscape ahead of the next general elections.
