Soludo has inaugurated 489-Member APGA Governorship Campaign Council ahead of November poll.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has inaugurated a 489-member Governorship Campaign Council of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) as preparations intensify for the November 8, 2025, governorship election.

The inauguration, held at APGA’s regional office in Awka, drew key party stakeholders and leaders. Governor Soludo described members of the council as carefully selected representatives chosen from the state’s 8.5 million citizens to carry the message of hope to the grassroots.

He praised APGA’s founding fathers for their sacrifices since the party’s establishment in 2002 and reassured the people that his administration, under the APGA banner, would continue commissioning projects and implementing policies that prioritize development.

Soludo charged council members to focus on mobilization at the polling unit, ward, and local government levels, emphasizing that victory at the grassroots remains the foundation of electoral success.

The Director General of the Campaign Council, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu, told members they were enlisted on a mission to secure Soludo’s re-election, noting that the campaign would be run with the determination of “underdogs facing unknown opponents.” He urged them to deploy ideas, energy, and commitment to ensure victory across all polling units.

APGA National Chairman, Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, Anambra State Chairman, Barr. Ifeatu Obiokoye, Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze, and other top party leaders including Chief Ifeyinwa Obegolu, Dr. Paschal Agbodike, and Senator Emmanuel Nwachukwu, all described Soludo as Anambra’s consensus candidate, citing his impressive track record of development. They pledged their full support for his re-election bid.
