Ruth Kadiri Says She’s Striving to Stay True to Herself Amid the Demands of Entertainment

The Nollywood star opens up about balancing fame, creativity, and personal identity while navigating the pressures of the movie industry.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Popular Nollywood actress and filmmaker Ruth Kadiri has opened up about why she chooses to keep her private life separate from her career in entertainment.

The mother of two explained that she is intentional about maintaining this boundary because the last thing she wants is to lose herself in the process of being an entertainer.

In an interview with Jay OnAir, Kadiri shared that she values her personal life deeply, describing it as a source of happiness and fulfilment that she prefers to preserve while continuing to build her career.

“The last thing I want to do is lose myself in the process of being an entertainer,” Ruth Kadiri said. “I need to be able to keep my own wealth of happiness and fulfilment while growing and building what I want to build. And I’m not going to let anybody sway me.”

Not much is publicly known about Kadiri’s personal life, except that she is married to a man whose identity remains private. The couple has welcomed two children together between 2019 and 2022.
