NewsOnline Nigeria reports that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reassured Nigerians that the country will rise above its current economic difficulties.
Speaking on Wednesday at the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) Conference in Abuja, the President emphasized that poverty will not define Nigeria’s future.
“We may be poor; poverty is not going to be our milestone. We are going to come out of it,” Tinubu said.
He acknowledged that the reforms implemented by his administration have been challenging but stressed that they are essential to placing Nigeria’s economy on a strong and sustainable footing.
The President also highlighted the critical role of all stakeholders, particularly the media, in contributing to the nation’s progress and economic recovery.
