PDP Governors Nominated 10 Ministerial Candidates To Tinubu- Wike

Wike’s stance on impartiality towards municipal planning laws was unwavering, even suggesting that the PDP national secretariat could be subject to demolition if found non-compliant.

FCT Minister, Wike has revealed that PDP Governors nominated 10 Ministerial Candidates to President Tinubu.

Newsonline Nigeria reports that in a surprising twist, newly inaugurated Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, has disclosed that PDP governors had sent a list of 10 ministerial nominees to Tinubu for consideration along with the other governors of the 36 states, yesterday.

Wike’s stance on impartiality towards municipal planning laws was unwavering, even suggesting that the PDP national secretariat could be subject to demolition if found non-compliant.

Amid speculations about his party affiliation and flag, Wike boldly declared, “Bring the PDP flag, I will fly it, bring the Labour Party flag, I will fly it.” Focusing on the broader picture, he emphasized, “The FCT is in this state and you think the people are bothered about the party flag I fly?”

Promising a rejuvenation of the FCT, he said, “We will bring FCT back to where it ought to be. So many people have complained that this is not the FCT of the founding fathers.”

The agenda set forth by Wike showcases his determination to restore the city to its former glory. Prioritizing security, sanitation, and infrastructure development, Wike addressed issues ranging from shanties to revenue leakages.

He made it clear that uncompleted buildings harboring criminals would be reclaimed and repurposed. His resolve to end land racketeering was evident as he outlined plans to revoke land from those who hadn’t developed it and to reallocate it to those ready to build.

Addressing a wide range of challenges, Wike articulated a holistic approach. From engaging stakeholders, including natives and herders, to combating open grazing, he promised alternatives to reduce hardships for those without private transportation.

Mass transit will be revitalized to enhance public transportation access, with accountability being paramount. Wike’s message to security agencies was unequivocal: provide results, not excuses.

Wike’s vision is clear: to transform the FCT into a safe, sanitized, and well-planned hub. His willingness to challenge party norms and prioritize public welfare sets a precedent for a new era of governance in the nation’s capital.
