NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Osun State Government through the ministry of education invites applications from interested and suitably qualified person to apply for the massive jobs recruitment across Public Primary, Junior Secondary, and Senior Secondary Schools. Spearheaded by the Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) and the Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), this initiative aims to enrich the state’s educational institutions with qualified and passionate educators.

Osun State Teaching Jobs Recruitment For Primary and Secondary Positions

 

The Osun State Government is actively seeking to fill teaching positions in various capacities within the state’s public education system. This recruitment effort is divided into two main sectors:

  1. For Public Secondary Schools (TESCOM):
    • Qualifications Required:
      • BA + PGDE, BSc + PGDE, HND + PGDE, BA (Ed), or BSc (Ed).
      • WASSCE/NECO-SSCE/NABTEB with five (5) credits in relevant subjects, not exceeding two sittings.
      • Teacher Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certificate and knowledge in computer operations are advantageous.
      • Other relevant qualifications will also be considered.
  2. For Public Primary and Junior Secondary Schools (SUBEB):
    • Qualifications Required:
      • WASSCE/NECO-SSCE/NABTEB with five (5) credits in relevant subjects, not exceeding two sittings.
      • Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE).
      • Teacher Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certificate and computer literacy are added advantages.
      • Other relevant qualifications will be considered.

For both TESCOM and SUBEB applications, candidates must prepare the following for their online submission:

  • A recent passport photograph (mandatory).
  • A valid and functional mobile phone number (mandatory).
  • An active email address (mandatory).
  • Proof of Local Government of Origin (mandatory).
  • Birth certificate or a court-declared age document.
  • Attestation from three (3) referees.
  • National Identification Number (NIN).
  • A means of identification (mandatory) – options include a National ID card, Voter’s card, International passport, or National Driver’s license.
