Osun 2022: Davido Slams Oyetola For Heading To Tribunal, Recalls 2018

Nigeria Music Artist David Adeleke, popularly called Davido, has slammed the incumbent governor of Osun State, Gboyega Oyetola for taking the governor-elect, Ademola Adeleke to the Tribunal following his lost at the last governorship election.

 

Newsonline reports that Davido recalled Governor Oyetola that when his uncle Senator Adeleke lost the 2018 governorship election, he congratulated him within hours.

 

Davido said the refusal of the governor, Oyetola to congratulate his uncle Adeleke and heading to court to challenge the victory was a wrong thing.

Newsonline had reported that the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, and Oyetola filed Osun election Tribunal on Friday to challenge the victory of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and its candidate Senator Adeleke citing electoral malpractice.

 

Davido wrote, “Your excellency sir, Gboyega Oyetola, when will you congratulate the Incoming governor of your state Senator Ademola Adeleke?

 

In 2018 my uncle congratulated you even though it was stolen … do the right thing baba .. one love.”
