Held to a 0-0 draw by Imama Amapakabo’s side, the Owena Waves struggled to find the breakthrough in a match where both sides battled for dominance.
According to Boboye, the team’s objective was to secure maximum points. However, they were unable to convert their opportunities, leaving him disappointed with the overall performance.
The former coach of Plateau United remains resolute in his commitment to recover lost points in future matches.
Boboye emphasized, “We’ve put the result behind us; it’s done and dusted. Our focus now shifts to the next game against Akwa United.”
Reflecting on the recent match, he noted, “It was a tough encounter against a solid team. However, it’s still unclear why two of our goals were disallowed, and we were denied a penalty that should have been awarded.”
