Labour Party Chairman Reveals When Peter Obi Will Be Declared President

Julius Abure, who is currently on a tour of the United Kingdom and the United States to rally party members and supporters, has been actively engaged in a legal struggle against a faction led by Deputy National Chairman Lamidi Apapa.

Labour Party Chairman has revealed when Peter Obi will be declared President.

Newsonline Nigeria reports that Julius Abure, the National Chairman of the Labour Party, has addressed supporters of the party in the United States, expressing strong optimism that their presidential candidate, Peter Obi, will soon be declared the President of Nigeria.

This declaration comes as the country awaits the judgment of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT), following the hotly contested February 25 elections.

Amid ongoing legal debates, the PEPT has been meticulously evaluating arguments from Peter Obi and the Labour Party regarding the victory of Bola Tinubu, the frontrunner of the APC, who was initially announced as the winner and President of Nigeria.

Julius Abure, who is currently on a tour of the United Kingdom and the United States to rally party members and supporters, has been actively engaged in a legal struggle against a faction led by Deputy National Chairman Lamidi Apapa. Addressing the supporters, Abure declared, “Peter Obi’s participation in the 2023 general election transformed Nigeria’s political landscape.”

Abure’s fiery speech conveyed his party’s refusal to back down.

He stated, “They have unjustly taken what does not belong to them, and they will not rest until we reclaim it all.” With an air of confidence, he projected that the judgment on the election dispute would be delivered by the 16th of September, asserting that Peter Obi would emerge victorious.

He criticized the current state of affairs under the present administration, asserting, “Since their assumption of power, the nation’s condition has deteriorated. The Labour Party, led by Peter Obi, remains the sole political entity with the answers to Nigeria’s challenges.”

Abure concluded with a call to his supporters not to lose faith, despite the obstacles. He stated, “Our optimism remains unshaken, and I firmly believe that Peter Obi will ascend to the presidency.”

The anticipated judgment from the PEPT is set to be unveiled on or before September 16, 2023, as reported by the Daily Independent.
