JUST IN: Court Sentences Killer Of Five-Year-Old Hanifa To Death By Hanging

The second accused, Hashim Isiyaku was also found guilty by Justice Usman Naaba Court, on the four charges preferred against him and also handed over a sentence to death by hanging.

Abdulmalik Tanko has been sentenced to death by hanging by Kano State High Court, sitting in Kano, for the kidnap and killing of five-year-old Hanifa Abubakar.

 

Newsonline reports that Justice Usman Naaba handed a five-year jail term to the murderer for all the five charges brought against him.

 

The second accused, Hashim Isiyaku was also found guilty by Justice Usman Naaba Court, on the four charges preferred against him and also handed over a sentence to death by hanging.

 

He also has a two-year prison term hanging on his throat for attempts to kidnap.

 

The Kano State High Court presided by Justice Usman Naaba also found guilty the 3rd accused person, Fatima Musa, guilty on four counts in the case of the murder of Hanifa.

Newsonline had reported that the five years old school girl, Hanifa, was allegedly poisoned to death by the proprietor of her school in 2021 after collecting ransom from her parents.

 

In the judgment paper on Thursday, Justice Usman Naaba, said the five count charges are for kidnappings Hanifa Abubakar, attempting to kidnap her, counseling to kidnap her, abatement and poisoning her to death.

 

The Judge sentenced Fatima Musa for conspiracy and attempt to kidnap and sentenced her to one year each on the two counts because she is a nursing mother.
