Jemima Osunde has cautioned women against overdependence on wealthy partners.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Nollywood actress Jemima Osunde has cautioned women who believe they are entitled to their partners’ wealth or insist on only dating or marrying rich men.

The movie star described such expectations as unrealistic, especially considering the current state of the economy. She questioned why some women prefer to fantasize about wealthy partners instead of working to earn their own income.

According to Osunde, there are not enough billionaires to sustain the notion that every woman can become a rich housewife. She advised ladies to focus on productive ventures rather than depending on the financial strength of men.

In a post on her X handle, the actress wrote:
“Work his ass off for money? Wetin do your own ass? You don’t want to work? In this economy? It’s like some of you think we’re still living in Bible times. My good sis, there’s not enough billionaires in the world for all of us to be housewives. You better go and look for work.”
