In Peter Obi, Your Future Is In Your Hands, Fight For It- Adebanjo To Youth

It is no longer a tea party. Those who are there do not want to leave, but we will kick them out.

The Leader of the Yoruba apex socio-cultural and political organization, Afenifere, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, has called on Nigerian youths to fight for their future which is well protected by the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.

 

Newsonline reports that Chief Adebanjo added that the youths must see the candidacy of the Labour Party presidential candidate as their candidacy which requires all their support to win the 2023 election.

 

Chief Adebanjo made the call during the launch of the 157-page book titled “The Challenges of Good Governance and Leadership in Nigeria: The Peter Obi effect Factor,” an event organized by the Alaigbo Development Foundation (ADF).

 

He told the youths who are the support base of the former governor of Anambra State’s presidential ambition to sit up to the challenges, stating ‘it is no longer a tea party.

The Afenifere leader who has been criticized for leading the Yoruba apex organization to endorse Peter Obi against the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, added that in Peter Obi he found a person that cools him down for a better tomorrow.

 

Chief Adebanjo said, “It is no longer a tea party. Those who are there do not want to leave, but we will kick them out. I want your action, don’t let the opponents intimidate you.

 

“I have found in Peter Obi, a person that would cool me down for a better tomorrow. Your future is in your hands, and your positive action will make Peter Obi the next President.”

 

Earlier, the chief host and author of the book, Uzodinma Nwala, the Alaigbo Development Foundation (ADF) national president said Peter Obi’s humility, competence, character and integrity were the qualities that endeared him to writing the book.

 

Nwala called on all Nigerians across ethnic and religious divides to see the Labour Party presidential candidate as the right person to be elected for the 2023 election.

 

ADF national president added that with the many challenges confronting the nation, in insecurity, inflation, economic meltdown, and unemployment, Peter Obi is the right choice.
