I’m Not Married Yet — Niniola Clears the Air on Secret Wedding Rumours

Afro-house singer Niniola has dismissed widespread claims of a secret marriage, assuring fans that she remains single and focused on her music career.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Popular Nigerian singer Niniola Apata has finally responded to rumours claiming she secretly tied the knot.

Speculations had circulated that the “Maradona” hitmaker stepped away from the spotlight because she got married.

However, in a recent interview with Yanga FM Lagos, Niniola clarified that she is not married, putting the rumours to rest.

She dismissed claims that she was hiding her marriage to protect her career or bookings.

The 38-year-old singer said, “I don’t care whatever anyone does or says about my personal life. After all, I’m not a 12-year-old. I’m old enough to speak my truth with my full chest. I’m not married.”

When asked why she hasn’t collaborated with her younger sister, Teni, Niniola explained that their joint project will happen only when the time is right and under the right circumstances.

She further noted that music is strictly business, stressing that “there’s no family in business.”
