Breaking: Five Persons Shot Dead In Customs Sporadic Shooting

Five persons have shot dead in Customs sporadic shooting.

 

 

News Online reports that at least five people were reportedly shot dead in Iseyin, Iseyin Local Government, Area of Oyo state Thursday during an alleged sporadic shooting by men of Nigerian Customs Services.

 

According to an eyewitness who spoke to News Online,  the NCS men on intercepting suspected smuggled goods coming through the boarders resulted shooting sporadically during which stray bullets from their gunshots hit the five victims.

 

News Online learned, according to the witness that most of those killed by the bullets at the Ojaba area were said to be those out on Eid El Fitri celebration into their friends and relations.

Already sources said tension was still mounting in the town as family and friends of the victims have started protesting.

 

The Aseyin of Iseyin land, Oba Abdulganiyy Adekunle Salau, in his reaction asked officers of Nigeria Customs Services to keep 40kilometers away from the border of the town.

 

Speaking through his media aide, Semiu Azzez, the Aseyin lamented the killing of the 5 youths by men of the Nigeria Customs Service in Iseyin.
