EPL: Klopp To Be Without Five Key Players For Everton Vs Liverpool Match

Klopp’s men will travel to Goodison Park to clash with Everton on Saturday afternoon.

Newsonline report that the Reds head to the game after beating Newcastle United 2-1 in their last Premier League tie, while Frank Lampard’s men drew with Leeds United.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday, Klopp said the likes of Arthur Melo, Jordan Henderson, Naby Keita, Thiago Alcantara and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain would not feature against Everton.

“My information is it will not happen until tomorrow, the international clearance,” Klopp said. “We all hope he [Arthur] will be fine for Napoli.”
He added: “He [Henderson] is definitely out, he is injured, but the extent I don’t know.

“For Naby Keita, it’s a muscle injury, Ox [Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain] is a muscle injury also, and they will be out for a while,” Klopp added in his pre-match press conference.

“Thiago [Alcantara] is the closest of all [of them]. I think at the start of the week, next week, he will be in team training.”

The kick-off time for the match is 12.30 pm.
