Newsonline reports that Moghalu said the problem of Nigeria remained having a country but not a nation.
Moghalu stated not living as a nation among the different ethnic groups was the root issue that feeds security and economic problems facing the country.
The former CBN deputy governor said the next administration that would take over on May 29, 2023, should focus on restructuring the country.
According to Moghalu fixing the country requires that the next administration will constitutionally restructure the country.
He said, “Nigeria’s problem is that we have remained a country but not a nation. This is the root issue. It feeds our security and economic problems. It’s therefore the first order of business for the next government from the 2023 elections. The fix is constitutional restructuring.
“Back to real federalism. Anything else is Living in denial.”
