Dr. Ahmadu Fatimah-Binta Bags Triple International Honours at UNILAG Leadership Summit

In addition, Dr. Fatimah-Binta was inducted into the Leadtimes Africa Hall of Fame for 2025, in recognition of her sustained influence and outstanding contributions to healthcare advocacy, governance, strategic communication and humanitarian service.

Dr. Ahmadu Fatimah-Binta has bagged Triple International Honours at UNILAG Leadership Summit.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Dr. Ahmadu Fatimah-Binta, Medical Director of Susamsss Hospital, Principal Consultant at S5 PR Communications Ltd and Chief Executive Officer of HealthFeed Initiative NGO, has received three major international honours in recognition of her leadership, integrity and service to humanity.

The awards were presented at a high-profile leadership summit held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka, Yaba.

At the ceremony, Dr. Fatimah-Binta was conferred with an honorary Doctor of Personnel and Human Resource Management by Highstone Global University, Texas, USA. The honour, approved by the university’s Board of Directors following a faculty recommendation, recognised her professional excellence, leadership capacity and impact across the private and public sectors.

She also received the Leadtimes Africa Grand African Leadership Prize for Integrity, Transparency and Accountability in Service, in acknowledgement of her contributions to nation-building, ethical leadership and community development.

In addition, Dr. Fatimah-Binta was inducted into the Leadtimes Africa Hall of Fame for 2025, in recognition of her sustained influence and outstanding contributions to healthcare advocacy, governance, strategic communication and humanitarian service.

In a press statement, Professor Buba S. Mshelia, Advisory Board Chairman of Leadtimes Africa Magazine and co-convener of the ceremony, said the honours were awarded strictly on merit, without bias or prejudice. He explained that recipients were carefully selected based on demonstrable impact, integrity and service across diverse fields.

Dr. Fatimah-Binta was particularly commended for her multifaceted contributions spanning healthcare delivery, public relations practice, faith-based initiatives, humanitarian advocacy and stakeholder engagement in both private and public institutions.

The event also featured the recognition of several prominent Nigerians. Among them was Dr. (Mrs.) Jummai Tutuwa Adamu, Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Institute of Industrial Research, Oshodi (FIIRO), who received the Leadtimes Africa Industrial Researcher of the Year Award. Professor Mshelia described her nomination as a reflection of her transformative role in strengthening Nigeria’s industrial research ecosystem.

Dr. (Hon.) Uriel Ezeh, Group Managing Director of UR 9 Group, was named Leadtimes Africa Businessman of the Year for his achievements across sectors including real estate, construction, agriculture, hospitality, energy, logistics and asset management.

Other recipients of the Grand African Leadership Prize for Integrity, Transparency and Accountability included Dr. Azeez Abayomi Mustapha, Chief Executive Officer of AZ Logistics Ltd; QS Raheem Abdulbaki, Chief Executive Officer of the Kwara State Procurement Agency; and Engr. (Dr.) Abubakar Sadiq Mustapha, Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Trade & Tech Group. Dr. Mustapha was also inducted into the Leadtimes Africa Hall of Fame and appointed an advisory board member of Leadtimes Africa Magazine.

Highstone Global University, Texas, USA, also conferred honorary doctorate degrees on other distinguished Nigerians, including Princess Layo Bakare Okeowo, Chief Executive Officer of FAE Ltd, and Arc. Emmanuel Moris of the Nigeria Police Force, who received a Doctor of Risk and Security Management.

Representatives of Highstone Global University were present at the event, reinforcing the international stature and credibility of the summit.

The triple honours bestowed on Dr. Ahmadu Fatimah-Binta underscore her growing profile as a respected professional, ethical leader and dedicated advocate for humanity.
