Debate Your Manifesto, Don’t Attack Me- Oseni Rufai To Tinubu

Arise TV anchor, Oseni Rufai, has advised the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to devote more time to debating and analyzing his manifesto for Nigerians instead of attacking him.

Newsonline reports that Oseni Rufai has been under constant attack from the Tinubu/Shettima campaign organization.

In a series of tweets on his official Twitter handle, Oseni said he is committed to unbiased and fact-backed analysis. He said he holds nothing against any presidential candidate but is committed to a working Nigeria.

“Rather than abuse me. It’s best they spend time debating their manifestos and attending town hall meetings. Remember Rufai Oseni is not on the ballot. Nigerians are watching. I will never go low to their level. I will show them the best of humanity. Nigeria will be great,” he said.

Oseni who is one of the anchors of Arise Morning Show said no amount of intimidation will make him shift ground on his insistence on sound and objective analysis.

He said, “I will not be intimidated. I will keep on giving objective and sound analyses. I will not go low despite their abuse. Like they go on TV to abuse me I will keep speaking love. I will win. The truth will win.”

He added, “Surrogate that ought to be defending his candidate spent a whole show attacking me. I thank him for the free publicity. God bless him for making me more popular. I advise them to think of how to discuss policies and issues only, small minds discuss people.

I am resolute despite the politicking and attempts to discredit me for calling a spade a spade.I laugh at all these. I will continue to give fact-based analysis and robust conversations.

“I saw some people lie that I will take some time off TV… Not true. I will take some days off this platform as I sort out some issues. I will keep speaking on TV. I am for the issues not sentiments. Let’s debate manifestos.”
