Datti, I Cherish Feedbacks, We Are Encouraged- Peter Obi Salutes Critics

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has said feedbacks and criticisms from others on him and his vice-presidential candidate, Datti Ahmad-Baba are cherised because it encourages them.

 

Newsonline reports that Peter Obi holding leaders to account shows capable followership. This he said shows determination by the youths to take back their country and build a nation they desire.

 

The former governor of Anambra State added that the fate of Africa depends on Nigeria while the fate of Nigeria depends on good leaders which can only come out of a system of strong and capable followers.

 

He said the followers must hold those they elect to account through feedbacks to build the nation they desire.

In a statement on Saturday, Peter Obi said, “The fate of Africa depends on Nigeria, and the fate of Nigeria depends on good leaders. Good leaders can only come out of a system of strong and capable followers, holding to account those they elect to govern them. It depends on YOU!”

 

“Are you tired of being tired of this country? Then, it’s time to act. Let’s make the Office of the enlightened citizen the highest office in the land,” he added.

 

The Labour Party presidential candidate called on all Nigerians to join in electing leaders in 2023 election who eill be held to account by the citizens.

 

“As leaders, Datti and I cherish feedbacks. We are encouraged especially, by the passion and commitment which our young people are bringing to our ranks, and by their determination to take back their country and build for themselves the kind of nation they desire. We therefore invite all the people of goodwill to join us in this noble task,” he said.
