NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Nigerian businessman and celebrity barman, Okechukwu Pascal, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has taken a swipe at Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy following his performance at the Uyo Stadium during Davido’s tour.

In an Instagram post, Cubana Chief Priest expressed gratitude to Davido for allowing him to perform on stage, hailing him as the “Father of Afrobeats.”

He wrote:

“Chief Priest don do stadium. Dem sabi my gbedu well well for Uyo. From today onwards, Akwa Ibom has my fat heart. @davido without you, Afrobeats is a bastard. 001 for a reason, the papa of Afrobeats.”

Responding to a fan who mentioned Burna Boy in the comments, Cubana Chief Priest mocked the singer, saying, “The bingo go cry.”

The post reignited the long-standing tension between both celebrities, which began after Burna Boy reportedly offered help to Helen, the alleged baby mama of Cubana Chief Priest.

Meanwhile, Burna Boy recently opened up about the origin of his stage name during a conversation with tennis legend Roger Federer, revealing that it was inspired by his childhood love for comic books and superheroes.

According to him, he used to create his own superhero characters and eventually came up with the name “Burna Boy,”inspired by his imagined fire-related powers.
