Court Clears Goodluck Jonathan To Contest 2023 Election

Court has cleared Goodluck Jonathan to contest the 2023 election.

 

 

Newsonline reports that theFederal High Court sitting in Yenagoa has ruled that former President Goodluck Jonathan is eligible to contest the 2023 presidential election.

This online news platform understands that the presiding judge, Justice Isa Hamma Dashen delivered the judgment on Goodluck Jonathan contesting the 2023 election on Friday, May 27, 2022.

Also, the court held that Jonathan’s right to vie for the office of president again cannot be stopped by any retroactive law.
