Court has admitted evidence from Amazon showing the INEC server had no glitches on election day.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that evidence submitted in court by Amazon shows that INEC may have tampered with election results as there was no network glitch from their own end that prevented results from being transmitted.

This online newspaper understands that the Presidential Election Petitions Court admitted as evidence a report from a subpoenaed witness who identified herself as an employee of Amazon Web Services Incorporated, USA, stating the health status of the cloud services offered to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

The report was tendered through a witness subpoenaed by the Labour Party, by the name Claretta Ogar, whose identity was submitted as cloud engineer and architect.

The document, totaling six copies was admitted by the court amid objections by INEC, Tinubu, Shettima and the APC.

It will be recalled that on Presidential Elections day, INEC for some dubious reason decided to shut down their Presidential Portal for uploading of results while the portal for the Senatorial and House of Representatives was working perfectly.

The outcome of that incident led to a total dent in the image of the electoral body. As it will be recalled that the embattled INEC Chairman is on record saying that all elections will be uploaded in real-time and transmitted on the IREV portal for the world to see.

In their defense, INEC said they experienced glitches that made them shut down the portal, while the then Minister of Communications and Digital Economy Isa Pantami told the world that hackers were responsible.

The discrepancies in both arguments have thrown serious doubt into the narrative of INEC and the FG, as until a few weeks INEC was still uploading results to their portal.

Last week, Labour Party presented a witness that presented evidence of over 18,000 blurred result sheets uploaded on the INEC server.

It is important to note at this point, that the mere mentioning of the witness’ portfolio, especially, the very fact that she is an Amazon Staff, a tech engineer, an Architect, and an Amazon Web Services engineer sent noticeable shockwaves in the respondents’ team.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Justice Haruna Tsammani led five-member panel of Justices of the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) sitting in Abuja adjourned till Tuesday, June 20 for cross-examination of the 7th petitioners’ witness and continuation of hearing.
