Newsonline Nigeria reports that Enyimba’s technical adviser, Olanrewaju Yemi, has admitted that the team has limited information on their CAF Confederation Cup opponents, Etoile Filante. The People’s Elephant will face the Burkinabe side in the first leg of the second preliminary round at the Mamadou Konaté Stadium in Bamako on Friday.
Despite the lack of detailed knowledge about their rivals, Yemi stated that Enyimba will remain focused on their main goal: securing a victory.
“We don’t have detailed information on our opponents, but I’m sure they’ve been keeping an eye on us,” Yemi said in a club media statement.
“At Enyimba FC, we know the importance and legacy of our club. Winning is part of our culture, and we never rest on our laurels.
“We will go into the match prepared to fight, represent the club with pride, and aim for a favorable outcome.”
