
NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the results of the 2024 unity schools examination.
Thirteen candidates scored 01 in the 2024 National Common Entrance Examination results for Unity schools, announced by the National Examination Council. Minister of State for Education, Dr. Yusuf Sununu, disclosed this during a press briefing on Tuesday.
A total of 71,291 candidates took the exam on June 1, 2024, across 599 centers. Lagos State had the highest number of candidates with 17,751, followed by the FCT with 10,209, and Anambra State with 4,972 candidates.
Sununu reported that 4,360 candidates were absent, leaving 66,931 present. The highest score achieved was 203 out of 210. The admission process will continue to follow the usual 60% merit-based system.
