BREAKING: JAMB Releases 2026 UTME Results for April 20 Candidates

“The results for Monday, 20th, have been released. Candidates can view their results using the usual process,” the statement said.

JAMB has released 2026 UTME Results for April 20 Candidates.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has released the results of candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Monday, April 20.

This was disclosed in a statement on Tuesday by JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, who confirmed that affected candidates can now check their results through the board’s official channels.

“The results for Monday, 20th, have been released. Candidates can view their results using the usual process,” the statement said.

According to the board, candidates are to send “UTMERESULT” to 55019 or 66019 via SMS using the phone number used during registration to access their scores.

The latest release continues JAMB’s phased announcement of results since the nationwide examination began on April 16, with over two million candidates participating in the computer-based test across accredited centres.

The board had earlier released results for candidates who wrote the exam on Thursday, followed by a combined batch for Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18.

However, the Friday–Saturday results were delayed beyond the initial timeline, prompting concerns among candidates. JAMB later apologised for the delay, attributing it to the absence of its chief executive due to official duties.

With the ongoing batch releases, candidates are advised to continue monitoring official channels for updates on subsequent results.
