BREAKING: INEC Meets All National Commissioners Over Adamawa Guber Election

INEC is currently meeting with all National Commissioners over the Adamawa Guber Election crisis.

 

NewsOnline reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) National Headquarters in Abuja is currently hosting a closed-door meeting for all of its National Commissioners.

 

Just 24 hours prior, the electoral umpire had ordered Hudu Yunusa Ari, its resident electoral commissioner in Adamawa State, to abstain from all electoral umpire-related activities and the state election.

Recall that State’s REC, Hudu Yunusa Ari declared Binani winner of the election while collation of results was still going on.

 

NewsOnline reports that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has warned against the nullification of the declaration of Aishatu Dahiru Binani as winner of Adamawa state gubernatorial election after Saturday’s supplementary polls.
