BREAKING: Governor Adeleke Dissolves UNIOSUN Governing Council

Governor Adeleke has dissolved UNIOSUN Governing Council with immediate effect.

 

NewsOnline reports that Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has approved the dissolution of Osun State University, UNIOSUN Governing Council.

 

The dissolution of the Governing Board, NewsOnline Nigeria gathered is with immediate effect.

The information conveying the dissolution was contained in a statement signed by the Osun State Head of Service, Samuel Ayanleye Aina, on Thursday, May 19, 2023, and seen by NewsOnline Nigeria on Friday in Osogbo.

 

According to the statement, the state government appreciated the council members for their selfless service and commitment to the development of the University.

 

The statement reads, “The Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke has approved the dissolution of Osun State University Governing Council with immediate effect.

 

”While thanking the council members for their selfless service and commitment to the University, the Governor equally appreciate them immensely for their contributions to the development of the university in particular and the state at large and wishes them the best in their future endeavours.”
