Freed Ibom Air Passenger Comfort Emmanson has said that she is still in pain after prison ordeal.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Comfort Emmanson, recently cleared of all charges over alleged unruly behaviour aboard an Ibom Air flight, has spoken out for the first time since her release from prison, revealing she is still in pain from her ordeal.

Emmanson regained freedom on Wednesday after an Ikeja Magistrate Court in Ogba, Lagos, struck out the five-count charge against her at the request of the police, who confirmed that both the airline and the complainant no longer wished to pursue the case.

Taking to Instagram shortly after walking free, she thanked her friends, supporters, and God for standing by her, writing:

“Thank you so much for all the prayers, love, and support. I’ve been released from prison, but I’m still in pains due to how I was treated. I just need some rest and medical treatment before I give out my own version of the event. I really appreciate y’all from the bottom of my heart. God bless y’all. THANK YOU MY GREAT GOD!!!”

Emmanson promised to share her full account of events once she recovers.
