
Caleb Olubolade
NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Caleb Olubolade, a former Minister of Special Duties under President Goodluck Jonathan and one-time military administrator of Bayelsa State, has passed away at the age of 70.
According to a statement by his children, Akinadewo and Dayo Olubolade, he collapsed while playing lawn tennis on Sunday evening in the Apapa area of Lagos.
Despite efforts by nearby medical personnel to revive him, he was pronounced dead on arrival at the Obisesan Naval Medical Hospital.
Olubolade had just celebrated his 70th birthday on November 30, 2024.
His family announced that burial arrangements will be shared later.
