BREAKING: FCT Minister Wike Speaks On Having Critical Health Challenges, Abroad Medical Trip

FCT Minister Wike has denied the alleged critical health challenges and abroad medical trip amid criticism.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has denied rumours about having health challenges.

 

Wike, during a media briefing on Sunday, submitted that he is in good health and that is why he is able to execute the duties and activities his office demands.

 

Wike clarified earlier reports concerning his health, including some social media reports that he was flown to London for a medical emergency last week.

However, the former Governor of Rivers State has denied such reports.

 

“God has given me good health, that is why I have the energy to do what I am doing…” he submitted.

 

Earlier, Wike’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, had also denied reports of his principal suffering any form of health challenges.

 

Olayinka in his denial, wondered how Wike could be rushed to London on Thursday and return on Friday to visit the Dape community in Life Camp.

 

He questioned why critics constantly questioned the health of a minister who is always in the public’s eye.

 

Speaking via the X platform, Olayinka said, “They are saying that the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike was rushed to London for medical attention on Thursday night. They are even quoting time and Aircraft Number.

 

“Issorite! Sebi Wike was flown to London on Thursday night for urgent medical treatment and he used Witchcraft to come back on Friday to visit Dape Community in Life Camp area, Gishiri and Pigba Sama communities in Abuja on Friday.

 

“The Minister will also use Witchcraft to come back to Abuja on Monday to start commissioning road projects.

 

“People who have not done any medical check-up in the last ten years, jumping up and down on the health of a Minister that is seen everyday, doing his job. Make una KONTINU.”
