BREAKING: Crypto Billionaire, Blord Arrested Over Fraud

Blord arrest follows allegations against his companies involving cryptocurrency fraud, terrorism funding, and aiding.

Crypto Billionaire, Blord has been arrested over fraud.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the operatives of the Nigeria Police Force have arrested Linus Williams, a crypto billionaire popularly known as BLord, in Abuja on Tuesday.

This Nigeria news platform gathered that Blord arrest follows allegations against his companies involving cryptocurrency fraud, terrorism funding, and aiding.

Force spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the arrest and stated that the police would thoroughly investigate the complaints. The FCID (NPF-NCCC) is currently investigating Blord Group, Blord Real Estate Ltd, Blord Jetpaye Limited, and Billpoint Technology for offenses including cryptocurrency fraud, internet fraud, terrorism funding, and non-compliance with regulatory frameworks.

 

Adejobi emphasized, “We will do due diligence in our investigation. Our cyberspace must be safe and secure by all means. We are committed to achieving that.” He also denied that the arrest was triggered by a petition from Martins Otse, known as VeryDarkMan.
