Collation of Edo APC Governorship Election Primary Results has commenced.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the collation of results of Edo All Progressives Congress’ (APC’s) governorship direct primary election on in the 192 wards across the 18 local government areas is about to commence on Friday morning.

This Nigeria news platform gathered that Lushville Hotel and Suites, Gapiona Avenue, Government Reservation Area (GRA), Benin, the state capital, is still the collation centre.

Cross River Governor Bassey Otu, who is the Chairman of Edo APC’s shadow poll, informed on Thursday morning the fresh primary election was being conducted in view of the cancellation of last Saturday’s controversial exercise by the National Working Committee (NWC) of the governing party.

 

Many leaders and members of APC, officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), reporters, security operatives and other stakeholders are on standby at the collation centre.
