BREAKING: ASUU Confirms Suspension Of 8-Month-Old ASUU Strike

ASUU has confirmed the suspension of the 8-month-old ASUU Strike via Twitter.

 

Newsonline reports that after eight months of embarking on the ASUU strike to press home their demands from the Federal Government of Nigeria, lecturers of public universities in the country have suspended the action.

 

This online news platform understands that the decision to suspend the ASUU strike was disclosed in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, by the official Twitter handle of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) on Friday morning, October 14, 2022, after a marathon meeting.

ASUU tweeted: “The Academic Staff Union of Universities (@ASUUNGR) has suspended the strike.”
