NewsOnline reports that the National Welfare Officer and member of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Barrister Friday Nwosu is reportedly dead.
A member of the NWC, who spoke in confidence, confirmed his death.
He was said to have died on Thursday in an Abuja Hospital after a brief illness.
It was gathered that Nwosu, who was discharged on Wednesday from the same hospital for an undisclosed ailment, went back on Thursday for a routine check-up before he passed on.
The former Abia governorship candidate under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was elected to the ruling APC NWC at the June 2022 National Convention of the party.
The source simply said: ” it is true that we lost FN early hours of the day. He died in the hospital after being discharged yesterday (Wednesday) only for him to go for a check-up and he died in the hospital.
“The National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu and other members of the NWC are yet to be informed.”
