
NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has emerged winner at the polling unit of the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi.
Obi, a former governor of the state, cast his vote at Umudimakasi, Agulu Ward 2, Polling Unit 008, where residents and supporters had earlier gathered in anticipation of his arrival.
According to the official results, Soludo secured 19 votes, defeating his closest rival, Nicholas Chukwujekwu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who scored 10 votes.
The Young Progressives Party (YPP) received four votes, while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) polled one vote.
