NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the first two countries to qualify for the semi-final at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations have been confirmed.
This follows the completion of two fixtures on Friday night.
In the first game, Nigeria defeated Angola 1-0 to book their spot.
Ademola Lookman finished off a fine team move to give the Super Eagles the victory.
They will now await the winner of the South Africa and Cape Verde quarter-final tie on Saturday.
DR Congo also progressed into the last four, seeing off Guinea 3-1.
Arthur Masuaku netted direct from a free-kick on 82 minutes to give his country a two-goal advantage in the quarter-final and they will face hosts Ivory Coast or Mali for a place in the title decider.
Mohamed Bayo had given Guinea a 20th-minute lead from the penalty spot. But DR Congo captain, Chancel Mbemba, made it 1-1 soon after.
Yoane Wissa put the Congolese ahead in the 65th minute from the second penalty of the match, then Masuaku effectively decided the outcome.
They will face the winner of the Mali vs Ivory Coast match.
