
Newsonline Nigeria reports that some candidates of the just concluded 2023 presidential election have called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to include them in his government.
The National Rescue Movement presidential candidate, NRM, Ambassador Felix Osakwe, made the call while speaking on behalf of the Forum of Concerned Presidential Candidates when they visited the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje, in Abuja.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, some of the presidential candidates include those of the Action Peoples Party (APP), All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), and Action Democratic Party (ADP), among others.
”Our forum is for the peace and development of Nigeria. The president should be told that not all the presidential candidates are against his victory,” he said,
Osakwe explained that the meeting with Ganduje was to identify with him for his appointment and with the Tinubu-led administration.
He added that the group also expected the APC chairman to lead them to meet with Tinubu so he could hear their views.
Meanwhile, Ganduje promised the forum that he would convey their views to the president.
