NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Samuel Nwanosike, the chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State, reportedly led some suspected thugs to the venue of the ongoing Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, National Executive Committee, NEC, meeting in Abuja on Thursday.
Nwanosike is a loyalist of the former Rivers State Governor and currently the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.
NewsOnline reports that, among other things, a potential sanction for Wike is expected to take the front burner at the ongoing party’s NEC meeting over allegations of anti-party activities.
However, Nwanosike reportedly tried to force himself into the venue to create chaos and possibly stop NEC from making its resolutions.
