We Will Ensure Your Resounding Victory – APC Northern Govs Assure Tinubu

Northern governors of All progressive Congress, APC, has assured Bola Tinubu of resounding victory at the polls come 2023 general election.

 

Newsonline reports that the 14 APC governors visited Ahmed Bola Tinubu to congratulate him on his emergence as the presidential flag bearer of the ruling party.

 

Newsonline had reported that Bola Tinubu, former Lagos State governor clinched the party  primary after defeating Vice president Yemi Osinbajo, Rotimi Amaechi, Transport Minister.

 

Ahmed Bola Tinubu was successful through the contribution and support of the Northern APC governors.

The Northern governors had disagreed with the National Chairman, Adamu Abdullahi, who stated that Ahmad Lawal, the senate president was the consensus candidate of the ruling party in the build up to the primary.

 

Governor Bello Masari, katsina State, who declared the support of the APC northern governors in their visit to Tinubu on his twitter handle, said, “Myself and other @OfficialAPCNg
Governors from the north paid a congratulatory visit to our flag bearer in the 2023 Presidential elections, HE @officialABAT on his well deserved victory at the primaries. You have paid your dues as the leader of the party.”

 

Assuring the support of the Northern governors, Governor Masari stated that the governors have pledged to rally round to ensure that Tinubu becomes successful.

 

He said, “It is now our turn to rally round you, work hard and ensure a resounding victory in the 2023 elections.”

Also in the company of the APC Northern governors is the former Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima.
