UEFA Champions League club, Napoli, have taken a final decision on signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United with few hours left before the summer transfer window closes.

Newsonline report that The five-time Ballon d’ Or winner is keen to compete in the UEFA Champions League, a competition Man United cannot give him this season after the Red Devils finished in the sixth position on the Premier League table last term.

Napoli, who will participate in the Champions League this season are one of the top clubs said to be interested in the 37-year-old.

However, Napoli has dismissed the possibility of signing Ronaldo from Man United before Thursday’s cut-off point, according to Il Mattino.
